Resumen

Purpose: To evaluate the concordance level between manager leadership styles of a banking organization and the maturity level of their team works, according to Hersey and Blanchard’s Model, and their impacts on productivity.

Methodology/approximation: A methodology of type quantitative, exploratory – descriptive is used by doing a case study applied to a banking organization. The following instruments are used to collect data: SBDQ (Supervisory Behavior Description Questionnaire) and the Hersey and Blanchard’s Maturity Scale (1982).

Founding: The results showed that in the branch with better results there is concordance between manager leadership styles and the level of maturity of followers and their productivity. Originality/manuscript value: This study focuses on the followers’ points of view and not leaders’ images about themselves. In addition, according to bibliography review conducted, there are no studies related to this thematic in our country.
